The Poisson, Poisson & Bower, PLLC team is excited to celebrate yet another successful year. As 2019 comes to a close, we would like to say thank you and Happy New Year to our amazing clients. We do what we do and are who we are because of you. It is our honor to represent you.
2020 is bringing changes to the firm. George C. Bower, Jr. is retiring after 41 years practicing law in Anson County, and so the firm will no longer offer estate planning and probate services. Fred D. Poisson, Jr. focused his practice exclusively on handling workers’ compensation and personal injury (car wrecks, trucking accidents and wrongful death) cases in the early 1990s, and the firm is excited to announce that it will devote all of its resources to these areas of the law in 2020.
We know that injuries can be financial as well as physical and mental. Davis Poisson will continue to handle consumer protection cases and traffic cases for our clients, in addition to heading up the personal injury team. Fred Poisson, Jr. and Stewart Poisson will continue to represent the injured in workers’ compensation and all types of personal injury cases. Catherine Wyatt, the firm’s long-time non-attorney advocate for Social Security Disability cases, will continue to represent clients in Social Security and Medicaid hearings.
We are continuously striving to improve our client experience. We have added a medical records specialist, Keitha Eddins, to help cases move faster, and we are happy to add a new member to Keitha’s team in 2020. Our Wilmington office has relocated and renovated to suit the needs of our clients. We are very pleased to now offer free parking for our clients in downtown Wilmington. Many of you may have also seen our new firm videos on Facebook, shot in our Wadesboro office, which are designed to let our clients know who we are, what we do and how we can help them. You can expect to see more videos to come which we hope will enhance the client experience at our firm.
We feel grateful as we transition to a new decade of serving our current and future clients. If you or someone you know have been injured in an accident, call us today. We take each case seriously and try to help those in need, both in our own community and outside of it. We stand by our work and will look forward to helping you or someone you know.
